Stagecoach revised its bus services for the Deal and Dover area on 31 October 2022.
The services are now as follows:  
Route 12: Deal (South Street ) - The Strand - Upper Walmer - Ringwould - Whitfield - Canterbury. (operates Mondays-Saturdays) Route 12 timetable.
Route 81: Sandwich - Woodnesborough - Eastry - Betteshanger (North Way) - Burgess Green - Sholden (main road) - London Road - Deal (South Street) - Victoria Hospital - Mill Hill - Walmer Station - Ringwould - Duke of York's School - Dover (Pencester Road). NB: Some no:81 buses only serve the part of the route between Deal (South Street) and Dover (Pencester Road). (NB: operates every day.) Route 81 timetable.
Route 43: Route 81 buses travelling to Sandwich become route 43 to Canterbury, via Ash, Wingham and Littlebourne; there's no need to change bus at Sandwich - stay on using a through ticket. (NB: operates every day.)  Route 43 timetable.
Route 82/82A: Upper Deal (St Nicholas Close) - St Richard's Road - Mill Hill - Upper Deal (Bruce Close, Abbey Close) - Middle Deal (Hyton Drive, Bowling Green Lane) - London Road - Deal (South Street) - The Strand - Dover Road - Walmer (Knoll Place) - Kingsdown (Jarvist Place) - Granville Road - Deal (South Street). The 82A  service provides limited early morning  links to the 82 service from St Margaret's and Ringwould. Routes 82/82A timetable.
Route 84: Deal (South Street) - Cannon Street - Sandown (Ethelbert Road) - Northwall Road - Deal (South Street). Route 84 timetable.
Route 93: Deal (South Street), The Strand, Walmer (Dorset Court), Walmer (Thompson Bell), Ringwould, St Margaret's at Cliffe, Martin Mill (station), Martin (Old Lantern Inn), East Langdon, Guston (The Chance Inn), Burgoyne Heights, Dover (Girls' Grammar School), Dover Town Centre (Pencester Road) - with one extended service to/from Christ Church Academy early morning and mid afternoon.   (NB: a limited service, operates Mon-Sat; and not Sun and public holidays.)  Route 93:  timetable.

National Express Coaches
National Express no longer offer a service to London from Walmer. The nearest services depart from Dover and Ramsgate.

Car parking
Car parks and on-street parking in Deal with a link to Dover District Council's parking services pages.
Deal has a number of off-street car parks serving the town centre and seafront. The majority of these are provided by Dover District Council and operate on a "pay and display" basis.
The Council is also responsible for on-street "pay and display" parking and free limited-stay parking in a number of town centre streets and on the seafront.
A couple of the carparks serving supermarkets are independently operated and shoppers may qualify for time-limited free parking or a refund of parking fees against their purchases.
Parking charges normally apply from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday including Bank Holidays; parking is free from 5pm to 9am. However, charges also apply on Sundays in the town's Beach Street area - both in the car park and on-street parking bays. Parking is strictly enforced and, if a ticket machine is out of order, drivers should use the nearest available machine.
