Car parking
Car parks and on-street parking in Deal with a link to Dover District Council's parking services pages.
Deal has a number of off-street car parks serving the town centre and seafront. The majority of these are provided by Dover District Council and operate on a "pay and display" basis.
The Council is also responsible for on-street "pay and display" parking and free limited-stay parking in a number of town centre streets and on the seafront.
A couple of the carparks serving supermarkets are independently operated and shoppers may qualify for time-limited free parking or a refund of parking fees against their purchases.
Parking charges normally apply from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday including Bank Holidays; parking is free from 5pm to 9am. However, charges also apply on Sundays in the town's Beach Street area - both in the car park and on-street parking bays. Parking is strictly enforced and, if a ticket machine is out of order, drivers should use the nearest available machine.
