"Blessing of the Sea" Procession and Service, Deal town centre and seafront, 1.45pm-2.45pm. The annual event in which clergy, choir and members of the public process from St Andrew's Church in West Street to Beach Street (at the top of Farrier Street). After a short service (at approx 2pm) a wreath is cast to the sea. The procession returns to the church for refreshments.
